Moon Walk
★Exhibit Content: Popular science on experiencing the low-gravity environment of the Moon ★Interaction: Electromechanical interactive weightlessness experience device ★Operation: Visitors sit on the safety seat and fasten the seat belt; after the device starts, try to 'moonwalk' and feel the walking experience under low gravity. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of protective fences, a moonwalk simulation device, a safety seat with protection, and background graphics and text. Using electromechanical technology, the exhibit simulates the motion state under the Moon's low-gravity environment through a freely rotating swing arm structure. After visitors sit on the seat and start the device, they can experience the unique walking-and-jumping movement style on the Moon, feel the difference in movement brought by low gravity, and intuitively understand the physical property that the Moon's gravity is only one-sixth of Earth's. It is suitable for aerospace, astronomy science museums, and primary and secondary school science education scenarios. ★Scientific Principle: This exhibit is based on the physical properties of the Moon's low-gravity environment: The Moon's mass is far smaller than Earth's, and its surface gravitational acceleration is about one-sixth of Earth's (about 1.62m/s²); In a low-gravity environment, the weight of objects is significantly reduced, and walking presents a 'floating' sense of weightlessness. Astronauts usually move by combining walking and jumping; The exhibit restores this low-gravity walking experience through the motion simulation of a mechanical structure, allowing visitors to immersively feel the difference between the lunar environment and Earth.
