Sliding Notes
★Exhibit Content: Music Creation ★Interaction: Mechanical Interaction ★Operation: 1. Move or click the note sliders to compose music. 2. Click the instrument timbre buttons to listen to your created music. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit materializes the staff, with a physical staff set in four measures and equipped with note sliders, and also sets five instrument timbre selection buttons: dulcimer, trombone, flute, clarinet, and piano. Visitors move the note sliders to compose melodies, and after clicking the timbre button, the speaker plays the corresponding score. The note sliders have a light color-changing function; black represents normal sound, and colored represents rests. An accompanying science explanation board displays a comparison table of C major staff and numbered musical notation to help visitors understand basic music theory knowledge. ★Scientific Principle: The staff records pitch through note positions, and rests represent pauses. The system recognizes slider position information, retrieves the corresponding pitch audio, and combines different instrument timbre samples to play the music, intuitively demonstrating notation rules, pitch, and instrument timbre music theory knowledge.
