Power and Energy Tower

Children's Playground

★Exhibit Content: Energy Conversion ★Interaction: Electromechanical Interaction ★Operation: Participants ride the bicycle; when all three energy columns are lit, the top light group lights up simultaneously; participants aim the hair dryer at the windmill to drive it to rotate; participants use the flashlight to illuminate the central disc, triggering the top device to light up. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of a circular steel structure platform, main support bracket, multiple sets of bicycle power generation devices, wind-driven components, LED energy light columns, gear mechanisms, light-sensing demonstration modules, and an electrical control system. It is a recommended exhibit from the PopsciCat Exhibit Store. This exhibit is a large-scale composite interactive exhibit that integrates multiple energy conversion experience modules. Visitors can collect energy through three different methods—riding, blowing, and lighting—to sequentially light up the energy columns, drive the windmill, and activate the top gear lighting device. During the multi-person collaborative experience, they can intuitively feel the conversion process between different forms of energy. ★Scientific Principle: The law of conservation of energy is a fundamental physical law of nature. Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be transformed from one form to another or transferred between objects, with the total energy remaining constant. Riding the fitness bike converts mechanical energy from human work into electrical energy; the hair dryer generates airflow to drive the windmill, realizing the conversion of wind energy into mechanical energy; the flashlight illuminates the photosensitive component, converting light energy into electrical energy through the photoelectric effect. Through various interactive scenarios, the exhibit intuitively demonstrates the mutual conversion among mechanical energy, wind energy, light energy, and electrical energy, helping visitors understand the core connotation of energy conservation.
