Scarf Tube Cube
★Exhibit Content: Airflow Conveying and Pipeline Fluid Dynamics Characteristics ★Interaction: Electromechanical Interaction ★Operation: Place a scarf or ball into the bottom inlet, observe it traveling through the colorful pipes, and finally sliding out from the exit. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of a circular base, multiple layers of interlaced colorful transparent pipes, a centrifugal fan system, an inlet and discharge ports, and is a recommended exhibit from the KexMall. The base integrates a fan power unit, and multiple sets of colorful acrylic pipes are arranged in a crisscross pattern to form a three-dimensional pipeline network, with four independent feeding stations. Visitors put lightweight scarves or balls into the inlet, and the internal airflow drives the objects to quickly travel through the pipes, constantly changing paths in vertical climbs, horizontal turns, and curved detours, and finally rolling out from the exit. The entire movement trajectory is intuitively visible, allowing visitors to experience the conveying effect of air power through fun interaction. ★Scientific Principle: This exhibit relies on basic principles of fluid mechanics. The fan operation creates a directed high-speed airflow within the closed pipes, and the dynamic pressure generated by the airflow pushes lightweight scarves and balls forward along the pipeline. Pipes with different orientations continuously change the airflow direction, and the conveyed objects follow the airflow to complete climbing, turning, falling, and other movements, intuitively proving that although air is invisible to the naked eye, it has the ability to transmit power and convey objects. The three-dimensional interlaced pipeline design also allows visitors to observe the flow patterns of airflow in complex confined spaces and understand the basic engineering principles of fluid transportation.
