Energy Factory
★Exhibit Content: Interactive experience for popular science on energy conversion principles and generator working mechanisms ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: 1. Visitors sit on the fitness bike and start pedaling; 2. Mechanical energy is generated by pedaling, driving the generator to produce electricity; 3. Observe effects such as light bulbs lighting up, windmill turning, gears linking, and train moving to experience the energy conversion process. ★Exhibit Description: "Energy Factory" is an interactive exhibit focused on energy conversion and electricity popular science, designed for physics and engineering science exhibition areas. The exhibit features a "factory" theme. Visitors pedal a fitness bike to transfer mechanical energy to a generator, which converts it into electrical energy to drive multiple mechanisms such as light bulbs, windmills, gears, and trains, visually demonstrating the conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy. This allows visitors to personally experience the process of "generating electricity" and understand the working principle of generators. ★Scientific Principle: A generator is a mechanical device that converts other forms of energy into electrical energy. It can convert energy from water flow, air flow, fuel combustion, or nuclear fission into mechanical energy, which is then transmitted to the generator and converted into electrical energy. In this exhibit, visitors pedaling the bike transfer mechanical energy to the generator, which converts it into electrical energy to drive light bulbs, windmills, and gears, visually demonstrating the conversion of mechanical energy to electrical energy.
