★Exhibit Content: Surface Tension of Water ★Interaction: Mechanical Interaction ★Operation: Step onto the circular platform, pull up the bubble-making device, slowly stop pulling, and enjoy the wonderful moment of being surrounded by a giant bubble. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit mainly consists of the main platform, support frame, water tank, pulley lifting mechanism, bubble-making device, and bubble solution. Bubble solution is placed in a circular water tank. After pulling up the wetted ring and slowly stopping, a giant soap bubble can be formed, surrounding the child. The exhibit provides a circular experience space. Children can step into the central circular platform area to get ready, and with the assistance of parents, lift the bubble-making device to create the wonderful experience of a giant human-sized bubble. ★Scientific Principle: There are forces between molecules inside a liquid, and at the gas-liquid interface, this force manifests as attraction, namely "surface tension". The surfactant in the bubble solution reduces the surface energy of water, allowing water molecules to form a stable film. When the ring is pulled up and wetted, air is trapped in this film. Due to surface tension, the film maintains its integrity and expands into a giant bubble. The child stands on the circular platform, and as the bubble-making device is slowly pulled up and stopped, air gradually fills the film, eventually forming a giant human-sized bubble large enough to enclose the child, bringing a unique visual and tactile experience.
