Fly Like a Bird
★Exhibit Content: Science popularization of bird flight principles and aerodynamics ★Interaction: Interactive experiential science exhibit ★Operation: Visitors place their hands on the railings on both sides and slide them along the shapes on the railings in sequence to feel the trajectory of a bird flapping its wings; the walkway adopts a "bottomless abyss" design, simulating a high-altitude flight state through visual effects, enhancing the immersive interactive experience. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of wave-shaped guardrails, interactive railings, an abyss mirror walkway, and an instruction sign. The exhibit restores the bird flight mechanism through mechanical structures. Visitors can intuitively feel the trajectory of a bird flapping its wings by swinging their arms and sliding along the railings; the abyss mirror effect of the walkway, combined with semi-transparent mirrors and LED light strips, simulates the visual experience of high-altitude flight, allowing visitors to immersively experience how birds generate lift through wing shape and flapping to maintain flight, suitable for aerospace, nature science museums, and primary and secondary school science education scenarios. ★Scientific Principle: This exhibit is based on the aerodynamic principles of bird flight: Bird wings are curved. When flapping, the air above the wing flows faster and has lower pressure, while the air below flows slower and has higher pressure, thus creating an upward pressure difference (lift); The airflow generated by wing flapping is continuously pushed downward and backward relative to the body, and the reaction force lifts the bird, supporting its flight in the air; Through the trajectory design of the interactive railings, the exhibit restores the path of wing flapping, allowing visitors to understand the process of lift generation through touch.
