Why Spaceships Can Fly
★Exhibit Content: Experience a simulated rocket launch and understand the mechanics of spacecraft liftoff. ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: 1. Push the joystick to fill fuel; 2. Press the launch button; 3. Observe the screen in the window to see the flight distance corresponding to the fuel. ★Exhibit Description: This exhibit is an aerospace-themed electromechanical interactive exhibit, shaped like a cartoon rocket spacecraft. It consists of an outer frame cabinet, a simulated spacecraft model, a window display screen, a joystick, and a launch button. The circular window of the spacecraft has an embedded display screen simulating the spacecraft's porthole. Visitors push the joystick to complete fuel filling, press the launch button, and the screen plays a space flight video corresponding to the amount of fuel, visually demonstrating the relationship between fuel amount and spacecraft flight distance, and learning aerospace knowledge related to spacecraft liftoff. ★Scientific Principle: A spacecraft relies on the powerful thrust of a rocket to overcome Earth's gravity and leave Earth to enter space; in space orbit, the gravitational force on the spacecraft is equal in magnitude to the centrifugal force generated by its rotation around the Earth's center. Even if the engine is turned off, the spacecraft can continue to fly in orbit without falling.
