Where Do Clouds Come From
★Exhibit Content: Cloud Formation ★Interaction: Electromechanical Interaction ★Operation: Press the air pump, rotate the handwheel, and tap the button respectively to observe the water vapor cycle simulated by the LED strip. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of a base, frame, graphics, LED strip system, interactive mechanisms, and control system. Upon entering the exhibit area, participants will see a cross-sectional board depicting the sun, clouds, plants, rivers, groundwater, and ocean. The LED strip on the board simulates the movement of water evaporation, plant transpiration, and groundwater flow. The natural water cycle involves evaporation, atmospheric moisture transport, surface and groundwater circulation, and various forms of water storage. Participants simulate the evaporation process of fabric, rivers, and oceans through three methods: pumping air, turning the wheel, and tapping the button. ★Scientific Principle: Clouds are actually formed by the condensation of water vapor. When surface water is heated by the sun and evaporates, it forms water vapor that enters the atmosphere. As air moves, this water vapor rises to higher altitudes, where it encounters cooler air, cools, and condenses into tiny water droplets or ice crystals. These droplets or crystals cluster together to form the clouds we see!
