Solar-Powered Car

Earth & Home

★Exhibit Content: Solar Photovoltaic Conversion Application ★Interaction: Electromechanical Interaction ★Operation: Press the corresponding button to light up the light source; adjust the handle to aim the light source at the solar car; the car stops running when it leaves the illumination range; switch to other light sources to continue driving the car. ★Exhibit Description: This exhibit consists of a circular display cabinet, a double-layer circular track, a solar car, multiple adjustable light source components, an operating handle, control buttons, a transparent protective cover, and a 5mm thick acrylic UV-printed instruction sign. It is a recommended exhibit from the KexMall. Multiple visitors can participate in interactive competitions simultaneously. Press the button to light up the corresponding light source, turn the handle to adjust the illumination angle. When the light source shines on the car's solar panel, the car runs on the circular track driven by light energy. When the car leaves the illuminated area and cannot receive light energy, it stops moving. Visitors can switch to other light sources to continuously power the car, intuitively experiencing the practical application of solar power generation and understanding the real value of photovoltaic conversion through a competitive game format. ★Scientific Principle: Hydrogen atoms inside the sun undergo hydrogen-helium fusion, releasing enormous radiant energy. Solar energy is the radiant energy from the sun. Solar power generation belongs to photovoltaic conversion. Solar panels can directly convert received light energy into electrical energy to power the car's motor. Fossil energy reserves are limited, while solar energy is clean and renewable, widely used in production and daily life. This exhibit transforms the abstract photoelectric effect into a participatory competitive game, helping visitors understand how solar energy is utilized.
