Storm Simulation Room

Earth & Home

★Exhibit Content: Storm meteorological phenomenon science popularization and immersive experience ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction + immersive sound and light experience ★Operation: Step into the experience zone, hold on tight, and feel the power of different wind levels. ★Exhibit Description: The "Storm Simulation Chamber" is an immersive interactive exhibit for meteorological science popularization, specially designed for natural science exhibition areas, and is also a recommended exhibit of the KexMall science popularization mall. The exhibit is a cylindrical structure with a diameter of 2.6 meters, mainly composed of an experience cabin shape, a storm simulation system, and graphic descriptions. The experience cabin uses a steel structure support foundation, with protective glass installed around it, a ring of anti-slip handrails inside, and an automatically locking safety protection door at the entrance. When the start button is pressed, the fan, strobe lights, audio, and other sound-light-electric components work in coordination to simulate the wind field, water mist, and sound-light effects of different levels of storms, allowing visitors to immersively feel the power of storms and learn about meteorological disasters. ★Scientific Principle: The storm simulation system generates airflow with adjustable wind speed through a large fan, and cooperates with a water mist machine, strobe lights, and an audio system to simulate the wind field, rain mist, and sound-light effects of different levels of storms. The fan can change wind speed by adjusting its rotational speed, simulating different wind levels from breeze to strong wind; the water mist machine works with the strobe lights and audio to reproduce the rainfall, lightning, and thunder scenes in a storm, allowing visitors to intuitively feel the formation and impact of meteorological phenomena and enhancing their understanding of storm disasters.
