Power Battle (Generator Principle)
★Exhibit Content: The working principle of generators, electromagnetic induction phenomenon ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: Two visitors challenge simultaneously, one pushes and pulls the linear generator handle back and forth, the other turns the rotary generator handwheel, comparing the number and brightness of the two sets of LED lights to intuitively feel the difference in power generation efficiency between the two generators. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of a steel structure platform, transparent protective cover, linear generator model, rotary generator model, and LED light group. The linear generator generates electricity by the horizontal reciprocating motion of a magnet cutting magnetic lines, while the rotary generator generates electricity by the rotation of a magnet cutting magnetic lines. Visitors operate two different mechanical structures to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, driving LED lights to illuminate, understanding the law of electromagnetic induction in a gamified interactive way, suitable for science and technology museums, youth activity centers, and physics science exhibition areas for science popularization displays. ★Scientific Principle: This exhibit is based on the law of electromagnetic induction: When the magnetic flux of a closed circuit changes, an induced current is generated in the circuit; The stator coil of the generator cuts the magnetic lines of the rotating magnetic field, thereby generating an induced electromotive force, which is converted into electrical energy; The exhibit uses two different motion modes, linear and rotary, to let visitors intuitively feel the conversion process from mechanical energy to electrical energy, and understand the core working mechanism of the generator.
