Circuit Construction

Electromagnetism

★Exhibit Content: Circuit composition principles, characteristics of series and parallel circuits ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: 1. According to the circuit diagram on the instruction board, place electrical components to form a circuit; 2. Close the knife switch and observe the effects after the circuit is connected (such as light bulb lighting up, buzzer sounding, meter display, etc.); 3. Try to build different series or parallel circuits and compare the differences in their working states. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of an ammeter module, a voltmeter module, a buzzer module, a light bulb module, buttons, etc. The operation instruction board displays basic circuit diagrams. On the operation table, there are multiple transparent acrylic boxes representing basic electronic components. Visitors can use the basic components to form series circuits and parallel circuits. ★Scientific Principle: A complete circuit consists of a power source, electrical appliances, wires, and a switch. In a series circuit, the current has only one path, and the electrical appliances affect each other; in a parallel circuit, the current has multiple paths, and the electrical appliances do not affect each other. This exhibit intuitively presents the working principles and characteristic differences of series and parallel circuits through changes in light bulb brightness, buzzer status, and meter readings.
