Vascular Voyage
★Exhibit Content: Interactive educational experience on human blood circulation and vascular function ★Interaction: Dynamic exercise bike + virtual roaming multimedia interaction ★Operation: Visitors ride the custom dynamic exercise bike. During pedaling, sensors collect real-time speed and force data, which synchronously drives the vascular roaming scene on the high-definition large screen, providing an immersive experience of blood flowing through blood vessels, and helping visitors understand vascular structure, blood cell functions, and the principles of material exchange. ★Exhibit Description: This exhibit combines an exercise bike and adopts a virtual roaming format, allowing visitors to enter the interior of blood vessels and immersively experience the overall process of blood circulation, recognize the composition and functions of different cells in the blood; understand the material exchange between blood vessels and tissues/organs during blood transport, and recognize the important role of blood vessels. ★Scientific Principle: Human blood vessels are divided into arteries, veins, and capillaries, which together form a closed blood circulation system. Arteries transport oxygenated blood from the heart to the whole body, veins carry blood containing carbon dioxide back to the heart, and capillaries are the sites for material exchange between blood and tissue cells. Red blood cells in the blood are responsible for transporting oxygen, white blood cells participate in immune defense, and platelets participate in the coagulation process. Through virtual roaming, this exhibit visualizes the abstract process of blood circulation, allowing visitors to intuitively understand the correspondence between vascular structure and function, as well as the importance of vascular health to the human body.
