The Lungs' Breathing
★Exhibit Content: The breathing principle of the lungs ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: 1. Operate the pressure lever to drive the lung model to contract and expand; 2. Watch the transparent display screen to demonstrate the airflow direction and the gas exchange process in the lungs. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit is mainly composed of a human half-body model board, a lung model interactive device, a console interactive device, and other components. Through mechanical linkage and augmented reality visualization technology, the exhibit simulates the human respiratory process as a large interactive science popularization exhibit. With a life-size human half-body model as the background, a dynamically contracting and expanding lung model is set in the center. Visitors operate the pressure lever to drive the lung model, while observing the airflow direction, gas exchange animation, and health science knowledge synchronously presented on the transparent display screen. This exhibit transforms the abstract respiratory physiological process into an intuitive, visual, and operable experience, helping the public understand the structure and function of the lungs and recognize the importance of respiratory health. The lung model interactive device displays the structure of the lungs and related knowledge; the console interactive device is linked with the lung model interactive device for visitors to participate in the interaction. ★Scientific Principle: Display the function and role of the lungs, and understand the breathing principle of the lungs. The lungs are divided into lobes, two on the left and three on the right, totaling five lobes. The lungs are connected to the throat and nose through the lung system (referring to the trachea, bronchi, etc.), so the throat is called the gateway to the lungs, and the nose is the external orifice of the lungs. Visitors operate the pressure lever to drive the lung model to contract and expand. The transparent display screen on the surface demonstrates the airflow direction and the gas exchange process in the lungs, enabling visitors to understand the respiratory function of the lungs. While visitors press the lever to drive the lung model, the transparent screen respectively displays the promotion of physical exercise on lung function, the harm of secondhand smoke inhalation, and the impact of air pollutants on the body and protection measures.
