Food's Journey (Digestion Factory)
★Exhibit Content: Interactive educational experience on the human digestive system and food digestion process ★Interaction: Projection interaction + model linkage ★Operation: Visitors control the operating mechanism to simulate the operation of various organs, and combined with the projected images, understand the digestion and absorption process after food enters the human body. ★Exhibit Description: Through the combination of projection and dynamic models, the exhibit allows visitors to understand the composition of the digestive system and the digestion process of food. An anthropomorphic human digestive system is projected on the interactive tabletop, and 13 interactive demonstration models are set up; according to the projection prompts, select the corresponding props to operate, watch the interactive images on the interactive tabletop, and understand the demonstration process of food from entering the mouth through various digestive stages. ★Scientific Principle: The digestive system consists of two parts: the digestive tract and the digestive glands. The digestive tract is a muscular tube that starts from the mouth and continues through the pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and to the anus. The human body has 5 digestive glands: salivary glands, gastric glands, liver, pancreas, and intestinal glands. The basic physiological functions of the digestive system are to ingest, transport, digest food, absorb nutrients, and excrete waste. The completion of these physiological processes is conducive to the coordinated physiological activities of the entire gastrointestinal tract.
