Melody of the Heartbeat

Life & Health

★Exhibit Content: Heart function and blood circulation ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: 1. Visitors grasp the sensor, which reads their resting heart rate, and observe the water flow; 2. Step on the stepper and watch the changes in heart rate before and after exercise (changes in sound and light rhythm). ★Exhibit Description: "Melody of the Heartbeat" is an interactive exhibit for human physiology and health education, designed for life science exhibition areas and recommended by KexMall. This exhibit mainly consists of LED light columns, light strips, and steppers. It features two sets of stepper devices, allowing two people to participate simultaneously. At the top center is a heart model. Visitors grasp the sensor with their hands, which reads their resting heart rate, then step on the stepper to change their heart rate. When the sensor collects the signal, it produces corresponding light and sound effects. The flowing lights on the light columns around the heart model change according to the visitor's heart rate. When a certain level is reached, they jointly illuminate the heart model at the top center of the exhibit. ★Scientific Principle: The heart is the center of the human circulatory system, maintaining blood circulation throughout the body through veins and arteries. The normal resting heart rate for adults is generally 60-100 beats per minute. Exercise can increase the speed of heart pumping. People of different ages and physical conditions have different heart rate strengths and speeds, and this difference creates a rhythm similar to music. This exhibit collects the visitor's heart rate signal through a sensor and converts heart rate changes into light and sound effects, allowing visitors to intuitively experience the heart's dynamic role and the effect of exercise on heart rate.
