Is It You or Me
Operation: This exhibit requires two people to operate simultaneously. Adjust the brightness of the lights using the knobs to experience a bizarre visual effect. Function Overview: The exhibit consists of a half-mirror and two sets of adjustable spotlights. Two participants stand on either side of the mirror and adjust the brightness of the spotlights respectively, achieving the wondrous phenomenon of 'you in me, me in you', making it impossible to distinguish who is who. Scientific Principle: This exhibit utilizes the optical properties of a half-mirror to cleverly combine the reflected images of the visitors on both sides of the mirror, creating a visual effect that flickers between the two figures. Through demonstration, visitors can understand the optical properties and applications of coated glass (half-mirror). By adjusting the lights on both sides of the half-mirror, visitors can see the human images appear and disappear.
