Operation: Press the start button and observe the pattern changes. Function Overview: The exhibit consists of a turntable drive mechanism and a heartbeat interference pattern. Press the start button, and the motor drives the grating to rotate, revealing an optical illusion caused by Moiré patterns. Scientific Principle: Moiré patterns are the visual result of interference between two lines or objects at a constant angle and frequency. When the human eye cannot distinguish these two lines or objects, only the interference pattern is seen. The pattern in this optical phenomenon is called a Moiré pattern.
