Hand-Eye Coordination
Operation: 1. Place the ring on either end point, carefully move the ring, and do not touch the metal rod; 2. Move the ring to the other end. The game ends. Observe the number of failures and the time taken on the electronic screen. Function Overview: The exhibit consists of a curved metal tube, a digital display device, and a handle with a ring. Hold the handle, place the ring at the starting point at either end, and the digital display resets to zero. Move the ring along the metal tube to the other end. During this process, try to keep the ring from touching the metal tube; otherwise, an alarm will sound, and the number of touches and the time taken will be displayed. Scientific Principle: How can hand-eye coordination be improved? Human movements are controlled and coordinated by the central nervous system. The eyes are sensors, the brain is the controller, and the hands are the actuators. For different people, the performance of these systems varies. Through repeated training, coordination becomes more skilled, and hand-eye coordination continuously improves.
