Three Primary Colors of Light
★Exhibit Content: The principle of the three primary colors of light (RGB), science popularization of color light mixing, optical color cognition ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: Press the corresponding buttons to turn on the red, green, and blue primary light sources separately. Through different combinations and mixing, observe the different colors formed by color light mixing (such as yellow, purple, white), and intuitively explore the mixing rules of the three primary colors of light. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of three independent light sources (red, green, and blue), control buttons, and a mixing observation area. It is a recommended exhibit for the PopsciCat Exhibit Store. After pressing the switch buttons, participants can turn on the three primary light sources individually or in combination, observe the color changes after color light mixing, and personally try to mix colors such as yellow, purple, and white. This transforms abstract optical color knowledge into a visual and tactile interactive experience, helping visitors, especially children, deeply understand the principle of the three primary colors of light and learn basic optical knowledge. ★Scientific Principle: The three primary colors of light are RGB (Red, Green, Blue). The combination of these three colors can form almost all colors. Light becomes brighter as it is added. Mixing two colors can produce brighter intermediate colors: yellow (red + green), cyan (green + blue), bright purple (red + blue); mixing three equal amounts can produce white. Complementary color refers to a color that completely lacks another color. For example, red and green mix to form yellow. Since it completely lacks blue, yellow is the complementary color of blue, so yellow is not a primary color.
