Light Path
★Exhibit Content: Characteristics of Optical Elements ★Interaction: Electromechanical Interaction ★Operation: Approach the exhibit, press the button, rotate the knob to adjust the mirror angle, and observe how the light path changes. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit mainly consists of optical elements, photoelectric sensors, knobs, buttons, LED lights, etc., and is a recommended exhibit for the KexMall exhibit mall. The optical element is a plane mirror. Visitors press the "Start" button, and the emitter at the starting point emits a laser beam. Rotating the knob of the same color controls the rotation of the plane mirror, causing the laser beam to reflect when passing through the mirror surface, thereby changing the direction of light propagation and directing the beam to the target at the top. When the sensor in the target detects the beam, it emits a sound, and the LED light turns on. ★Scientific Principle: The exhibit consists of three sets of start buttons and multiple operation knobs, allowing up to 3 people to participate simultaneously. Pressing the button activates the laser light source. By combining multiple operation knobs, the angle of the plane mirror is controlled, causing the laser beam to change direction and propagate along different paths within the maze, ultimately hitting the target. At the same time, the target light is illuminated, and congratulatory music plays as encouragement. Light propagates in a straight line in the same uniform medium, and when light encounters different substances, phenomena such as reflection and refraction occur.
