Hexahedral Mirror
★Exhibit Content: Science popularization experience of the law of reflection and multiple reflections imaging with multiple mirrors ★Interaction: Visual observation interactive demonstration ★Operation: 1. Face the mirror tube and observe the multiple imaging effect of the pattern behind in the mirror combination from a distance; 2. Put your head into the mirror tube to experience the complex repeated imaging formed by multiple reflection mirrors up close. ★Exhibit Description: "Hexahedral Mirror" is an interactive exhibit for geometric optics science popularization, belonging to the optics exhibition area, and is a recommended exhibit by KexMall. The exhibit consists of a white and blue circular operation table, a blue conical hexahedral mirror tube, six sets of high-reflection flat mirrors, an access door lock, and a science popularization sign. Inside the mirror tube, six reflective mirrors form a closed reflection space. Light reflects and superimposes repeatedly among the multiple mirrors. Visitors can observe from outside or by putting their head into the tube, and see a single object multiplied into numerous repeated mirror images, intuitively and concretely verifying the law of reflection and clearly demonstrating the multiple imaging phenomenon caused by multiple reflections. ★Scientific Principle: This exhibit primarily demonstrates the law of reflection. When light hits a smooth mirror surface, reflection occurs. The reflected ray, the incident ray, and the normal lie in the same plane, with the reflected and incident rays on opposite sides of the normal, and the angle of reflection equals the angle of incidence. Inside the hexahedral mirror tube, six flat mirrors enclose a closed space. Light emitted by an object reflects back and forth continuously among the mirrors. Each reflection creates a new virtual image, and the superposition of numerous mirror images forms a rich and complex visual picture, intuitively presenting the optical law of multiple reflection imaging.
