Power Windows

Life & Safety

★Exhibit Content: Automotive window lift structure and the working principle of the cross-arm window regulator ★Interaction: Electromechanical interaction ★Operation: 1. Press the "Up" and "Down" buttons respectively to observe the window glass rising and lowering; 2. Press the "Display" button to observe the movement of the window lift mechanism through the switchable privacy glass. ★Exhibit Description: The exhibit consists of a square display platform, a simulated car window model, a cross-arm window regulator mechanism, a switchable privacy glass panel, and a function button set. It is a recommended exhibit from the PopsciCat Exhibit Mall. The platform replicates the window structure of an automotive door and contains a complete cross-arm lifting transmission mechanism, with switchable privacy glass on the front that can change to transparent. Visitors press the up and down buttons to intuitively observe the smooth rising and lowering of the window glass along the guide rail; pressing the display button switches the privacy glass to transparent, allowing a clear view of the transmission process of the internal cross-arm, toothed plate, motor, and other mechanisms, providing an intuitive understanding of the internal structure and operating logic of an automotive window. ★Scientific Principle: The automotive window regulator is a core functional component of the door system. The cross-arm regulator is the most widely used structural form, mainly composed of a sector gear plate, lifting cross-arm, drive motor, guide rail, and glass bracket. The motor drives the ratchet mechanism to rotate, which drives the sector gear plate to swing around its axis, thereby causing the cross-arranged lifting arms to unfold or fold, pushing the glass bracket to move up and down along the guide rail, achieving smooth raising and lowering of the window glass. This structure provides stable transmission and strong load-bearing capacity, can adapt to the spatial layout inside the door, and is a typical application of automotive mechanical structure design.
