Moire Fringes
Operation: Press the "Start" button to start the turntable rotation and observe the formation of moiré patterns. Function Overview: In digital imaging, if the subject contains dense textures, inexplicable water-wave-like stripes and strange colors often appear; these are moiré patterns. Whether images are taken with advanced digital cameras or scanned, this phenomenon can occur. It happens when a fine pattern on an object (such as the weave of fabric or closely spaced parallel lines on a building) overlaps with the pattern on the imaging sensor. When two patterns overlap, a new pattern is usually produced, commonly called a moiré pattern.
