Pass Through the Wall
Operation: Rotate the transparent channel to observe the magical phenomenon of the ball passing through the "wall". Function Overview: The demonstration device includes two sets of polarizing films with opposite directions, a ball, a transparent tube, and a rotating device. Visitors rotate the rotating device and tilt the round tube, and will find that the ball can pass through the "wall" in the round tube. Scientific Principle: This exhibit demonstrates the phenomenon of light polarization. The polarization of light is the most direct and powerful evidence of the transverse wave nature of light, and the polarization phenomenon of light can be observed with the help of an experimental device. The demonstration device includes two sets of polarizing films with opposite directions, a ball, a transparent tube, and a rotating device. The polarization angles of the two sets of polarizing films in the tube are exactly opposite, forming a virtual "wall" at the seam. Visitors rotate the rotating device to tilt the tube, and will see the ball easily pass through that "wall".
