Beautiful Glow
Operation: Touch and move your hand on the surface of the disc (sphere) to observe changes in the glow. Function Overview: The exhibit consists of a glow disc, a glow sphere, and a display stand. Participants can gently touch or move their hands on the surface of the disc (sphere) to attract or guide the movement of the glow inside, exploring the phenomenon of glow discharge. Scientific Principle: A high-frequency high-voltage electrode is installed at the center of the glow disc (sphere). The disc (sphere) is filled with small bubbles approximately 2-3 mm in diameter containing low-pressure inert gas. When the high-voltage electrode is energized, due to the strong electric field and the rarefied gas in the bubbles, a beautiful glow is excited. During the activity, participants can gently touch or move their hands on the surface of the disc (sphere) to attract or guide the movement of the glow inside, exploring the phenomenon of glow discharge.
