Human Body Conductivity
Operation: Place both hands on the electrodes respectively. See if the light turns on. Function Overview: The exhibit consists of two electrodes, a low-voltage power supply, and an LED strip. When visitors place their hands on the electrodes, they become part of the circuit. The light then turns on because the circuit is completed, demonstrating that the human body is a conductor. Scientific Principle: The human body can conduct electricity because it contains various trace elements such as calcium, sodium, and potassium. Additionally, sweat on the skin contains a large amount of water, and water contains numerous electrolytes. This exhibit uses the visitor's hands as electrolytes to generate an electric current, allowing observation of the light's brightness. This demonstrates that the human body is a conductor and highlights the importance of electrical safety in daily life.
