Automobile Clutch
Exhibit Dimensions: Transport dimensions: 540×440×640mm, Display dimensions: 540×440×1450mm. Exhibit Composition: Consists of an ABS plastic molded box, ABS plastic molded base, ABS milky white plastic molded operation tabletop with color silk-screen flip-up instruction plate, protective cover, handwheel, compression spring, pressure plate (friction plate), etc. Scientific Principle: The clutch is located between the car's engine and gearbox, and serves to transmit the power generated by the engine to the gearbox. When the car is running, the driving force needs to be changed according to different driving conditions, and this change is accomplished by the clutch. The clutch mainly consists of the flywheel, clutch cover, pressure plate, diaphragm spring, and other components. The lever in this exhibit represents the pedal in a manual transmission car. When the clutch pedal is depressed, the diaphragm spring contracts, the pressure plate and friction cover move away from the flywheel, and under the action of the spring, a gap is created between the pressure plate and the flywheel, putting the clutch in a disengaged state. When the clutch pedal is released, the diaphragm spring extends, the pressure plate moves forward, pushing the friction cover to press tightly against the flywheel surface, causing them to move together, putting the clutch in an engaged state. Operation: Turn the handwheel to observe the movement changes of the clutch structure; press down the lever to observe the position changes of the compression spring and pressure plate (friction plate).
